Dr Andrea Rossi’s dental practice has been dedicated for over ten years to oral health care, offering personalised treatments tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
Expertise, ethics and professionalism are the core principles of our practice. Dentistry in recent years has been characterised by complex and specialised intervention techniques. In order to achieve the best results in terms of predictability and therefore outcomes, Dr Rossi has assembled a team of professionals in his practice, where each specialist focuses on a particular branch of dentistry. We believe this is the only way to make an accurate diagnosis, propose an individual treatment plan and guarantee long-lasting results of the highest quality standards.
The ethical dimension is another fundamental element of Studio Dentistico Sorriso, characterising it through the accuracy and effectiveness of the medical care provided to our patients, in accordance with medical ethics and the most modern standards of appropriate care. In healthcare, the term appropriateness measures how well a diagnostic or therapeutic choice or intervention meets the needs of the patient and the healthcare context.
The health of the patient — not the customer — is at the centre of our approach. Environmental hygiene, controlled sterility of instruments and an accurate diagnosis serve to guarantee the highest quality standards for our patients.
Microorganisms are part of our daily life and, in general, we pay little attention to the risk of infection they represent. In dental practices, however, it is a different matter entirely. The risk of infection in the practice is much greater. The large number of patients treated and the nature of the work demand thorough hygiene. The responsibility of the practitioner towards themselves, their staff and the patient requires the use of highly effective disinfectant products. Our practice’s products and attention to detail meet all hygiene requirements and directives.
The proper functioning of healthcare systems — in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and equity — and their sustainability increasingly depends on the ability to determine and identify necessary treatments, whilst minimising instances of inappropriateness. The patient is at the centre of our project; appropriate care is our choice.
The sterilisation of medical instruments is a fundamental process in the daily activity of a dental practice, in order to avoid the risk of cross-infection and to protect the health of patients and the medical staff working within it.
General dentistry is concerned with the wellbeing of the entire oral cavity through prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all pathologies.
The Paediatric Dentistry service is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of oral pathologies in children from birth through to adolescence.
Our practice uses state-of-the-art, latest-generation equipment, with constant updates.
Dr Rossi has assembled a team of professionals in his practice, where each specialist focuses on a particular branch of dentistry.
Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry concerned with the study and treatment of malocclusions (imperfect bites or closures).
These problems may stem from dental irregularities, a lack of harmony between the jaw bones (mandible and upper maxilla), or both. Treatment focuses on correcting dental positioning and may involve controlling and modifying facial growth (dentofacial orthopaedics). Orthodontic appliances can be fixed, removable, intra-oral, extra-oral, transparent, invisible and lingual. The resulting correction of function and therefore of chewing represents an equally important advantage.
Cosmetic dentistry is concerned not only with the functionality of restorations but above all with the aesthetic appearance of the final result.
The final result must be as pleasant and natural as possible. Correction of dental shape defects, treatment of chromatic alterations (dark or yellow teeth), correction of minor positional defects. It uses translucent ceramic materials without metal support at minimal thicknesses, bonded with special adhesive techniques.
Periodontology is dedicated to promoting, restoring and maintaining the health of the supporting tissues of the teeth.
It treats gingivitis (inflammation of the superficial soft tissues caused by bacterial plaque and tartar), periodontitis (deep tissue inflammation commonly known as “pyorrhoea”) and gingival recession. If left untreated, these conditions can lead to tooth loss. It employs both surgical and non-surgical therapies.
Dedicated to keeping the patient’s mouth clean using professional ultrasonic instruments.
Removal of bacterial plaque and tartar to prevent and treat gingivitis, periodontitis, halitosis and cavities. We use Mectron Combi Touch equipment combining ultrasound and air-polishing. Supra- and sub-gingival scaling, removal of discolouration, biofilm removal, implant cleaning. Periodic recall appointments at 6, 4, 3 or 2 months.
State-of-the-art diagnostic examinations are available thanks to conventional and 3D digital radiology.
High contrast in the images obtained, minimised radiation exposure. Just 5 seconds for an orthopantomography and 0.10 seconds for a periapical radiograph. Fast and highly reliable examinations.
Dedicated to the selection, planning, placement and development of prostheses using endosseous implants.
Endosseous implants are titanium screws that are surgically inserted into the jawbone to replicate the root of a missing tooth. After a healing period of 3–6 months, a permanent prosthesis is anchored. We use BIOMET 3i implants with extensive clinical and scientific validation. Each patient receives an implant passport.
A fundamental process in daily activity to avoid the risk of cross-infection.
Protecting patients and practitioners is both a legal and ethical obligation. Our practice’s products and attention to detail meet all hygiene requirements and directives. CE-marked products in compliance with the VAH list. Traceable sterilisation cycles in accordance with ministerial guidelines.
